Plot

“Mufasa: The Lion King” massive film is a sequel to the 2020 film, The Lion King, which tells the story of Mufasa, an orphaned lion cub, to young Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala. The story is told in flashbacks, introducing Mufasa as an orphaned cub on an expansive journey where he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline. The bond between the misfits is tested as they work together to evade a threatening foe.

“Mufasa: The Lion King” may adopt a playful storytelling style, with Rafiki narrating Mufasa’s past to Simba’s daughter Kiara, Timon, and Pumbaa, mirroring the comedic style in “The Lion King 1 1/2.” The movie could combine Mufasa’s flashbacks with humorous commentary from the meerkat and warthog duo.
